CONSUMER GUIDE (PV) is much more than a directory. We usually don’t search only for the contact data of already known supplier, we want more – the answer to the following question: Who (in our area or even outside our area) is the most favourable supplier of a certain product or service?

PIRS, also a product of Slovenska knjiga and a winner of many European awards for quality among the business directories for professional use, is intended for inter-companies marketing. As opposed to PIRS, PV provides an opportunity for suppliers to present their products or services to the final user directly and in the most attractive way. You will judge yourselves how they have succeeded. It has to be mentioned that apart from advertisers, PV contains also plenty of other companies, which are presented in Pirs at least with one product.

In any case, don’t forget that, as in previous editions, some 100 companies offer special discount coupons. You will find them in their “Identification card” on http://www.pirs.si/, which makes the applicability of coupons even larger, since the discount of the same company can be used for several subsequent purchases.

The search in the guide is simple. With the right book in your hand and with the help of the renewed code list of activities you first find the relevant most suitable among 63 other activities. The “indicator” contains a list of products from this activity and we can easily see if we have chosen the right one. Administrative units are classified in alphabetical order within the activity, so the search area is sufficiently narrow and we can review the results directly. If we did not find the right activity, we can use even more precise browser and find, on the basis of key words, one or more activities where a product or a service might appear.
